hi.

My name is Michelle, and I am so delighted you are here.

This is our space to come as we are, and claim freedom in Christ. How amazing! One of my many passions (and there are truly so many) is writing, so it seemed a perfect fit to have a blog. This is a new adventure for me this blogging thing. But I love to write, and praying this space blesses you as much as it will bless me!

As an introvert, I feel all things and feel them deeply. Sometimes this simply wrecks me. If you are a feeler, you get me. I am also an Enneagram 1, which also wrecks me for a whole different reason. I enjoy an un-fancy life with my husband, Rich, of 37 years, here in Knoxville, TN. We are however born and raised Californians who left an old life to go on a God sized ride in a strange land we did not know. And what a joy-ride it has been! God has used us in ways we could neither imagine nor plan, and I am stoked to see where else He leads us! We are empty nesters, with two grown daughters, and also two little granddaughters...woo hoo! To spark joy in our lives, my husband and I spend a ton of time on our stand up paddle boards, having friends in our home for dinner, or roasting small batch coffee beans as our little side hustle business.

Life is mostly good here in our home. It has challenges and missteps and goof ups but we know that God is sovereign and has a plan and purpose for us. I know today, more than I know anything, that I am a precious daughter of a Mighty King. And even with a complicated story, still, He is so good. I am currently the Director of Coaching at a Christ centered recovery clinic and still trying to keep the main thing the main thing. And sometimes that's hard to do.

This blog is a space for me to walk out my priorities and keep them front and center.

I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing and in some sweet way, we can be sisters. You are invited to join me in prayer, writing, worship, and realness. I love that you are here, with me, to share our stories.

I am so grateful.
